Andrea came over for dinner and we dug into this Maple Dijon Turkey. So good we didn’t even get a picture first for you, sorry! Turkey breasts marinated in a savory sweet Maple Dijon gravy.
Maple Dijon Turkey
1t salt
1 pkg turkey loin (2 breasts)
cooking spray
Salt 2 turkey loins (breasts) with 1t salt for both sides then set aside for 30 minutes, up to overnight.
Make Maple Dijon marinade, see full recipe, set aside.
Spray crock pot with a little cooking spray for easier clean up.
Using a paper towel, pat dry turkey then place in crock pot.
Pour marinade over meat, coating well. I then flipped the loins over and spooned sauce back over the top again.
Let sit for 30 minutes in crockpot, covered. If you are going to marinate the meat longer please do so in the fridge, then add contents to crock pot, up to overnight is ok.
Spooning sauce over top again, then cook turkey in crockpot on low for 1 to 1.5 hours for each pound of meat.
Serve turkey, ladling a few tablespoons over meat.
As pictured: maple Dijon turkey with winter squash and brussels.
